Why I'm Running

I have spent the last sixty years working for life, liberty, and justice for all.  America today is in crisis and I now want to use all of my energy to make Maine a leader in restoring a healthy democracy.  The following are areas where I feel our state needs to further progress and also my experience that will help achieve these goals in the Maine Senate. 

In short, I am running for Maine State Senate because we need an active, experienced voice to stand up for our people and enable hope for the future.
